The Fox and the Crow Once upon a time, there was a big forest near a river. A fox was leaving there with his neighbor. One day, the fox saw a crow with a piece of cheese in his beak. The fox was very hun­gry and thought, “How can I get the piece of cheese?” He thought for a while. Soon, he got an idea in his tricky mind. He decided to flatter the crow and thus began praising him. He said to the crow, “You are such a pretty and clever bird! Your voice is so sweet. I am impressed with your voice. If only you could sing as beautifully for me then it will be my pleasure!” Now, the crow was very proud. He wanted to show the fox that he could sing very well. So he opened his mouth to sing and give a shout! The piece of cheese he was keeping with his beak fell into the ground. The fox laughed at the crow and picked up the cheese. TWO CLOSED FRIENDS | NARENDRA MODI AND RAHUL GANDHI-SHORT STORIES Two friends, Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi were walking through a forest when a bear attacked them.  Narendra Modi turned and fled. He climbed a tree and sat there, while Rahul Gandhi remained on the road.  There was nothing for him to do. So he fell to the ground and acted as if he were dead.  The bear came up to Narendra Modi and sniffed.  Narendra Modi even even stopped breathing for a while. The bear sniffed his face, thought he was dead and went away.  When the bear had gone, Rahul Gandhi Climbed Down and said teasingly, “what did the bear whisper in you ear? “ Narendra Modi replied, “The bear said, one who deserts his friend in time of danger is not a friend at all.

                                                        The Boy Who Cried, Wolf Once upon a time, there lived a shepherd boy who was bored watching his flock of sheep on the hill. To amuse himself, he shouted, “ Wolf! Wolf! The sheep are being chased by the wolf!” The villagers came running to help the boy and save the sheep. They found nothing and the boy just laughed looking at their angry faces. “Don’t cry ‘wolf’ when there’s no wolf boy!”, they said angrily and left. The boy just laughed at them. After a while, he got bored and cried ‘wolf!’ again, fooling the villagers a second time. The angry villagers warned the boy a second time and left. The boy continued watching the flock. After a while, he saw a real wolf and cried loudly, “Wolf! Please help! The wolf is chasing the sheep. Help!” But this time, no one turned up to help.
