Our National Flag

Look at this flag.  It is the flag of India. It is the flag of our country.

It is our national flag.

We call it the Tricolour.  We call it the Tiranga also. It has three colors- the Saffron the white and the Green.

The saffron is at the top. The green is at the bottom. Between the saffron and the green is white. In the middle of the white, there is a Chakra. We call it the Ashoka Chakra.

Saffron teaches us that we should have courage. The white teaches us that we should love the truth .The green teaches us that we should be good and brave. The Ashoka Chakra teaches us that we should love Dharma.

Dharma means justice for all. We love our national flag. We salute our national flag. We are proud of our national flag.
